On October 21st, rap star Lil Uzi Vert Headlined the Armory to a sold-out crowd. Before they even touched the stage, the venue had an audible buzz, with everyone waiting for Uzi to enter and perform. Before they performed, Uzi’s DJ pumped up the crowd with some popular rap hits to prepare them for the night’s main event, the first date on “The Pink Tape” tour.

After 2 hours of waiting (Uzi was an hour late), Lil Uzi Vert finally began performing. The first song of the night was “Suicide Doors”, which Uzi rapped while running back and forth across the stage. The actual set behind them was dazzling, with multiple levels of platforms for them to climb onto, and use during the performance. After the first song finished, Uzi climbed onto the highest part of the set and kicked two set pieces off of it, declaring it was their show, and they could do what they wanted. During the performance, Uzi wore lots of jewelry, including two diamond cross chains, a massive diamond RG chain, and a diamond-studded chainlink bracelet.

As the night continued, Uzi maintained the energy they started the night with, and played all of their smash hits, such as “Money Longer”, “Do What I Want”, “XO Tour Llif3”, and “Just Wanna Rock”. During a break between songs, Uzi Announced that he would be releasing the third mixtape in the “Luv Is Rage” series, and the crowd yelled their approval. Throughout the performance, Uzi’s DJ was positioned to the side of the stage in a white van, with a side cut-out and a DJ booth lain inside the van. The DJ kept the energy going the entire night alongside UZi, and the performance was choreographed perfectly between the two.
