Doll Skin – The Rebel Lounge – Phoenix AZ – March 12th 2023

Review and photos by Brian Curski

I’m not sure I have been a another show like it. It was part rock show, part therapy session, and part family reunion. Doll Skin announced the end of the band after nine years, and wanted to go out with a all encompassing show that covered their entire history.

After four opening bands, all that were special to the band, they played a set covering both eras of the band. The first was the four original members (Syd Dolezal, Alex Snowden, Nicole Rich and Meghan Herring) playing for nearly an hour, followed by later members joining Dolazal an Herring on stage to play recent songs.
It was intense, emotional, intimate and amazing. Everything a concert should be
