The Eagles Target Center Minneapolis MN 9/13/2013
The History of the Eagles comes through Minnesota when The Eagles play live on September 13 at the Target Center. They are greeted by a large crowd of eager fans, fans of The Eagles since they first developed, up to young fans that first learned of the band through their parents. The show begins with Don Henley and Glen Frey sitting on two crates playing acoustic guitars. They start things as if it is the year 1971 all over again, which creates a feeling of incredible nostalgia among a number of concert goers.
After a number of tunes, Bernie Leadon emerges from backstage. For the first tour since the seventies, Bernie becomes involved, something else that excites the fans incredibly. After yet another song, Timothy B Schmidt and Joe Walsh come out. They play the show in chronological order starting from 1971. It makes the entire audience feel as if they are seeing something special, regardless of what era of The Eagles they are in love with.
When the whole band is on stage the black curtain behind them reveals a massive screen that serves as a great back drop throughout the show. Rocking all night, The Eagles play a full two sets. Both sets contain twelve songs each with an addition four songs for the encore.
