LP at the Fillmore Minneapolis – September 11th, 2026 – Minneapolis, MN
LP brought the All Is Not Lost Tour to The Fillmore Minneapolis on September 11, delivering a night that balanced the powerhouse vocals loyal fans came for with humor, storytelling and a wonderful two set evening showcasing their new album “Room 12” as well as an array of beautiful and moving songs from their catalogue.
There is something immediately captivating about LP onstage. The unmistakable voice is obviously at the center of the show, but the personality behind it is just as much a part of the experience. Throughout the night, LP kept the crowd engaged between songs with stories, jokes and the kind of casual banter that made The Fillmore feel considerably more intimate than the large room was. Opening the show with a nod to Minnesotans as the “badasses of the country,” connected with the crowd immediately, while in a more humorous moment, another bit somehow transformed the familiar “not a creature was stirring” line into “not a creature was stirring, even a blouse” about guitarist Andrew Berkley Martin’s attire. It was exactly the kind of unexpected comment that caught the room off guard and had people laughing before LP moved right back into the music. Those moments gave the audience a look behind the curtain at the personalities and relationships within the touring band. Rather than simply moving from one song to the next, the stories made the performance feel personal and spontaneous.
One of the best moments of the Minneapolis stop came when they debuted the first live performance of a brand-new song, “Heaven and Earth.” Hearing this song live for the first time gave the crowd one of those rare concert moments that couldn’t simply be recreated by listening to the record later. The room became the testing ground for something entirely new, and the song offered an exciting glimpse into LP’s next musical chapter.
Musically, LP’s voice remains the undeniable centerpiece. That instantly recognizable combination of power, rasp and soaring range translates remarkably well live. Songs can move from intimate and restrained to enormous in seconds, with LP seemingly able to push a note further and longer just when you think it has reached its limit. The power and yet hauntingly beautiful tone echoed through the room with a mix of soft sensitivity and stunning power.
The All Is Not Lost Tour ultimately felt like a reminder of why LP is such a compelling live performer. There was plenty for longtime fans to recognize, but Minneapolis also got such a treat in hearing the live performance of their new album “Room 12”. Add in the stories, humor and LP’s unmistakable voice, and the night at The Fillmore became much more than two sets of beautiful music. It was powerful when it needed to be, funny when nobody expected it and personal enough to make a packed room feel part of something bigger.
