L.A. Guns – The Cabooze – Minneapolis MN – October 9th 2018

L.A. Guns live at the Cabooze in Minneapolis Minnesota.

A nice up close and personal show tonight at the Cabooze. I love this place, the sound is always good and site line are great from anywhere.

A generous crowd tonight for a Tuesday. Seems to be the older bands are not pulling them in during the week, but this is LA Guns.

Strange Daze from the cities opened the show. Pretty good band, a bit of a Pearl Jam sound with more metal mixed in.

LA Guns went on a few minutes late but that never happens in Rock N Roll. Staple to open the shows last few times I’ve seen them in Show No Mercy – no change tonight.

Then right into Electric Gypsy. Every time I have seen these guys it is awesome. Even if Phil and Traci were not together, both bands still had great shows.

The new album is really frickin good. I go into everything with an opened mind and do what we used to do. Put the album on and leave it in your car or cd player and keep listening. Even back then we did not get everything right away. So go get the new cd lp or what ever The Missing Peace.

I do miss Michael playing with the band. I thought him and Traci did great on the album.

Would have loved to seen them together live. We did get 3 new tunes off the new album, I love when bands play new stuff and promote what they have just created.

The rest if the set list was all the hits you want to hear. Tonight was a great night to celebrate rock n roll.

I just looked on wikipedia and they already have a new album listed for 2019 Wasn’t Tomorrow Great? So already looking forward to that.

Setlist – No Mercy – Electric Gypsy – Over the Edge – Sex Action – The FLood’s the Fault of the Rain – Speed – I Wanna Be Your Man – One More Reason – Kiss My Love Goodbye – Hellraiser’s Ball – Malaria – Never Enough – Jelly Jam – The Ballad of Jayne – Rip and Tear – The Devil Made Me Do It.
