Starcrawler absolutely brought the heat to The Fillmore Minneapolis! Opening the night for the Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, the Los Angeles rockers delivered a gutsy, electrifying performance packed with attitude, killer guitar work, and an unapologetic rock ’n’ roll spirit.

Arrow de Wilde commanded the stage with her unmistakable presence, while the band unleashed a wall of gritty guitars and pounding rhythms. Starcrawler have that rare ability to make a live show feel unpredictable and exciting, combining punk-rock aggression with glam-rock swagger and catchy, well-crafted songs.

The guitar work was a major highlight, especially during the closing stretch, when the guitarist took the performance into the middle of the floor and unleashed a blistering display of speed and intensity. It was the kind of moment that reminds you why seeing a great rock band live beats listening to a record any day.

Starcrawler proved to be the perfect opening act for a night celebrating punk-rock history. They brought their own identity, their own energy, and plenty of firepower, winning over the room with a performance that was every bit as entertaining as it was musically impressive.

Starcrawler didn’t just warm up the crowd — they made a serious impression. Loud, fearless, and overflowing with rock ’n’ roll energy, they delivered one hell of a set at The Fillmore. This is a band worth seeing whenever they come through town!

The Sex Pistols brought a full-throttle dose of punk-rock history to The Fillmore Minneapolis, and what a night it was! With Steve Jones, Paul Cook, and Glen Matlock delivering the goods and Frank Carter taking command of the microphone, the band sounded fierce, loud, and completely alive. This wasn’t just a nostalgia trip — it was a celebration of the rebellious spirit that changed rock music forever.

Carter was a fantastic fit, bringing boundless energy, attitude, and an engaging stage presence to these legendary songs. Meanwhile, Jones’s snarling guitar riffs, Matlock’s driving bass, and Cook’s powerful drumming provided the essential foundation. The chemistry was undeniable, and the performance had the urgency and rawness that punk rock demands.

The setlist was a dream for fans, kicking off with “Holidays in the Sun” and charging through classics like “Seventeen,” “New York,” “Pretty Vacant,” “Bodies,” and “God Save the Queen.” “No Feelings” and “Problems” kept the momentum going, while “E.M.I.” delivered another dose of the band’s wonderfully irreverent attitude. The Stooges’ “No Fun” and “I’m Not Your Stepping Stone” added extra garage-rock grit before the band closed with the ultimate punk anthem, “Anarchy in the U.K.”

Frank Carter deserves special credit for making these songs his own while respecting their history. He brought a fresh intensity to the performance, connecting with the crowd and keeping the spirit of punk alive rather than simply recreating the past.

The Fillmore was the perfect setting for this celebration of punk’s enduring power. The guitars were loud, the songs were timeless, and the atmosphere was charged with excitement. Nearly five decades after the Sex Pistols shook up the musical establishment, their music still sounds rebellious, vital, and gloriously defiant.

An absolutely thrilling night of punk-rock history! The Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter proved that these songs still pack a serious punch. Loud, uncompromising, and full of attitude, this was a memorable reminder that punk rock never really grows old — it just keeps finding new ways to make noise.
