Live Nation and Xcel Energy Center presents Queen and Adam Lambert
Review and photos by Kyle Hansen
So I was sitting at home not planning on going to the show when I got a call from my buddy his daughter was not gonna go cause they went the night before. So I was more than happy to help him with his dilemma. So while talking to him he told me we have second row right next to the stage. Well sweet I will bring my little camera for some shots. Little did I know they would turn out so good.
Anytime you can go see a band of this caliber do not hesitate to go. Even if it is up in the top rafters you have to see these bands before they don’t tour any more. I try to get to as many as I can. They opened with Machines and it was mixed in with Radio Ga Ga. I love how this is one that gets everyone to have their hands in the air. Even the road crew was doing it was us all. Now Freddie can never be replaced cause he is Freddy but Adam does an amazing job as lead singer. They do a couple of videos of Freddie which is amazing. The stage is a massive spectacle. Video screens, all sorts of moving parts it is amazing. Then on top of that Adam comes out on the is wicked motorcycle with a million lights for Bicycle Race. This was even better than the time I saw them before. I will put the setlist below because that is all you need to know if they go on tour again. We can only hope so.
Setlist – Radio Ga GA – Hammer to Fall – Another One Bites the Dust – I’m In Love with My Car – Bicycle Race – Fat Bottom Girls – I Want it All – A Kind of Magic – Killer Queen – Don’t Stop Me Now – Somebody to Love – Love of My Life – 39 – Under Pressure – Tie Your Mother Down – Crazy Little Thing Called Love – I Want to Break Free – Who Wants To Live Forever – Guitar Solo – Is This the World We Created – The Show Must Go On – Bohemian Rhapsody – We Will Rock You – Radio GA GA – We Are the Champions
