The Pink Summer Carnival concert held at Minneapolis’ Target Field proved to be an absolute stunning success.  It etched an indelible mark on the hearts of all attendee.  With a record-breaking number of attendees, Pink excitedly announced to the screaming crowd when she finally took to the stage!

Pat Benatar and Nick Giraldo opened for the sensational Pink. The night was a seamless blend of classic and contemporary rock. Transcending generations, this captivated the massive audience. Pat Benatar’s iconic voice, backed by Nick Giraldo’s masterful guitar work, transported the crowd.  Through a time warp of hits like “Hit Me with Your Best Shot” and “Love Is a Battlefield”, they demonstrated the timeless appeal of their music.  That proved to be a perfect prelude for an unforgettable night of music.  Their powerful chemistry served as a fitting introduction to the main event. It left the audience was left energized and hungry for more.

As the sun set over the Target Field, Pink took to the stage via a descent from the stage ceiling with an unparalleled energy that set the tone for her entire performance. Her commanding presence and powerful vocals filled the stadium, captivating the crowd from the very first note.

The production value of the concert was nothing short of spectacular. The stage was a visual marvel, featuring intricate lighting designs, mesmerizing visuals such as giant silver palm trees, a huge beach style disco ball and pink flamingo “floaties”. Stunning pyrotechnics added a dynamic and immersive dimension to the performance.

Pink’s ability to effortlessly command the stage and connect with her audience was evident in every song, as she danced, interacted with fans, and shared heartfelt stories between sets. The performance transformed from a high energy beach party to 80’s video set to grand theatre worthy ballet and aerobatics. Pink’s signature high-flying act was on full display in several sets and her encore included a full fly-over of the entire stadium. She was electric to watch, and the atmosphere was charged with excitement and positivity creating an uplifting and communal experience that united the diverse crowd in a shared celebration of music and art.

Throughout the night, Pink’s powerhouse vocals were on full display, amplified by a setlist that traversed her illustrious career. Tracks like “Raise Your Glass” and “What About Us” elicited thunderous sing-alongs, and moments of raw emotion were felt with her tribute to her late father in “When I Get There”. Another poignant standout moment was Pink’s soul-stirring cover of “Make You Feel My Love,” a Bob Dylan classic. This rendition, delivered with a raw emotional intensity, left a lasting impression on the audience. Another peak moment was when her daughter, Willow Sage Hart, took the stage with her to sing “Cover Me In Sunshine”, the crowd exploded for the young singer and you could feel a proud-mama moment in full effect!

The Pink Summer Carnival concert wasn’t just a show; it was a true carnival of music, dance, and art that will linger on for years to come. The concert was a perfect blend of entertainment and emotion, leaving the audience with a sense of joy and a lasting memory of an incredible summer night under the stars in Minneapolis.
