Country stars Lonestar and Thompson Square brought the heat to a full house. It was on a chilly night at the Treasure Island Event Center in Welch, Minnesota.  Multi-award-winning duo Thompson Square warmed up the crowd with thoughtful lyrics, beautiful vocals, and a fun stage presence full of playful banter and entertaining commentary.  Their chemistry added to the beautiful musicality of their performance, and it was a great opening to the evening.

Lonestar is a country music band known for their harmonious blend of traditional country roots. Formed in 1992, the band has achieved success with chart-topping hits like “Amazed,” “I’m Already There,” and “No News.” Their music often explores themes of love and life in small towns.  Also included are heartfelt emotions, resonating with audiences across generations. Lonestar’s signature sound combines strong vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and memorable melodies, making them a staple in the country music scene for over three decades.

They completed the evening with a set full of favorites.  Lead singer, Drew Womack, delivered strong and rich vocals. This was through a set that included all 10 of their number 1 hits.  Also included were two classic covers – Leann Womack’s “I Hope You Dance” and Marc Cohen’s “Walking In Memphis”.  The crowd spilled out into the sides of the event center to be able to dance, sing along, and enjoy the hits.  As the night closed out, they sang their hit “Amazed”.  It was followed with a medley of country rock covers.  They danced the night away for a memorable night of country rock and amazing energy.
