Due to circumstances beyond my control I was not able to see Bones UK. The response was really positive from everyone I talked to. They are from London and have a huge groove for two people. Check them out here https://www.bonesuk.com/bones-uk-home.

Breaking Benjamin has been touring for sometime now with Disturbed and Five Finger Death Punch. Tonight they are up first before Korn. They are in support of their latest release Aurora which came out on January 24th. Aurora is a rehash or reimagining if you will of older songs. Check it out. Tonight they played a 12 song set filled with everything you want to hear. 3 songs Phobia and We Are Not Alone. Everything thing else was a great mixture of their other albums. The stage has been the same for a while with a huge sun star burst back drop and the band in front of it. The band is so solid since their return to touring a few years back It’s like they never missed a beat.

When I first heard Korn on a promo of their first release I figured I guess this is what the new metal will sound like. Weird sounds, kiddish lyrics, but after time it grows on ya. I never thought it would last as long as it has. With that said it was great to see Korn keep the setlist heavy to the self titled album and Issues with only 2 from Follow the Leader. Keeping it old school pleased most of the fans. But don’t let The stage was a little more simple then what I have seen Korn do. Usually there is a huge cage or crazy thing going on. They kept it simple to some video screens and a lot of lights. The band is spot on live. They still do all the typical stage antics with head banging, strutting and crowd interaction. One of my favorites is Shoots and Ladders when Jonathan plays the bag pipes. They are in support of their latest release Nothing which came out in September of 2019. If you are a fan of Korn see the show. If you are a fan of the old stuff see the show and grab the new album It is awesome.
