KDWB’S 2014 Jingle Ball – Xcel Energy Center – December 8th 2014

I Heart Radio, KDWB and Xcel Energy Center present KDWB’S 2014 Jingle Ball.

The 2014 Jingle Ball has brought it’s best line up since 2009. Nick Jonas is hosing with Dave Ryan and the KDWB morning show.
Each year they sell out the X and we are entertained by pops best stars. This year 4 of the entertainers are nominated for a Grammy.
The crowd is mostly a young crowd and you can hear that when Nick Jonas comes to the stage to introduce the next act. The girls are just screaming.

The way Jingle ball works is you get a few songs, sometimes just one, from several artists in about 3 to 3 and half hours. The kids love it because you get
lots of hit songs from the hottest artists.  KDWB’S 2014 Jingle Ball was no exception.
Kicking it off this year is Meghan Trainor who who does Dear Future Husband, Title, Lips Are Movin, and her hit All About That Bass. Her new album comes out in January.
In between each act KDWB dj’s come out and introduce the next act, next up – Becky G. Great singer which appealed to the younger crowd.
Nico and Vinz give us one song, their hits In Your Arms and Am I Wrong. The crowd was given glow stick which lit up the entire arena. Way cool idea and great for the artists.
They can see everyone at the Xcel.
One Republic rocks the stage next. Headed by Ryan Tedder who is one popular producer and creating hits. They were the only band on the line up this year. Rocking the stage for 5 songs, Love Runs Out, Counting Stars, Apologize, Stay With Me (Sam Smith hit), and Secrets.
Demi Lovato kept the energy going with her songs Really Don’t Car, Heart Attack, Let It Go, Give Your Heart a Break, and Neon Lights. She singing and energy was one highlight of the show.
Shawn Mendes comes out for two tunes, Life if the Party and Something Big. Surprised you could hear him cause the girls were a screaming. One of the fan favorites tonight.
Kiesza gives us Hideaway and Giant In My Heart. SHe was super fun on stage and on the red carpet. Just joking and doing some great poses for us.
Jessie J does Burnin’ Up and thats it. She does come out later for a song with Ariana Grande.
Rita Ora whips out How Do We Party, and I will Never Let You Down.
Ariana Grande seems way more comfortable on stage this year than last and she knows it. With a cute Playboy bunny type outfit she looks and sound great.
Set list Problem, Love Me Harder, Break Free and Bang Bang.
The stage is two sided and spins around so when one artist is on the next can get ready behind them.
The headliner is Iggy Azalea this year come to the stage through the bottom and onto a huge stairwell. She is surrounded by several dancer sand kick it right in.
Iggy Izalea seems to be in goo spirits and she does her set. In a green outfit and letterman jacket she does Bounce, Problem, Booty, Iggy SZN, Black Widow (with Rita Ora), Work and closing it out with her hug hit Fancy.
This year was one of the strongest line ups and makes us wonder what can be in store for next year.
