Hall & Oates – Xcel Energy Center – St. Paul MN – May 16th 2018

Xcel Energy Center presents Hall and Oates with spceial guests Train.

Train opened the show to a huge response from the crowd. Their music has reached many over the 20 year career they have had.
Patrick Monahan started in a Led Zeppelin cover band in the mid nineties and out 4 th song was a cover of Heartbreaker. Nice job fellas.
They were in support of their latest release from 2016 A Girl, A Bottle, A Boat.
They did get a good set with 12 songs ranging from all over the years.
With this huge of a setlist it was more of a co headling tour.
Maybe Patrick and Darryl made this deal when he was on Darryl’s House, a super cool tv show when artists come in and
The band is fantastic and Pat’s voice is still spot on.

Rock N Roll Hall of Famers Hall & Oates hit it right off the bat with Maneater and it just went into a huge greatest hits set.
The history and musician ship of this duo is incredible.
Each decade they have made music has had its own feel.
The band jammed a few extra long tunes during the set.
Half way through the set Pat from Train came back out and did a couple of tunes and a Train song.
The evening was an excellent show with an excellent set list.
