When this show got announced I was thrilled!!!! For 40 years we have been listing to Exciter and they have never played in The Twin Cities. Plus we get Hell Witch, Wraith and Midnight. I knew all the local metal heads would be into this one and it did not disappoint. We knew 4 dudes in the parking lot before we even got in.

Hell Witch is also celebrating a 40th anniversary. They brought a blazing onslaught of death core for 30 minutes to open the show. They only did six songs but the mosh pit was huge for the whole set.

Wraith put on a massive trash set of the same time 30 minutes. The pit kept going for these guys too. Only complaint is I wish they had more time.

Midnight was insane. These guys have black masks on, leather, hand cuffs, bullets blets and are all metal. There enrgy is off the charts the tunes are amazing. I have never seen them before but they came out and ripped it up. By the merch line and crowd a lot of people were here just to see them.

Exciter did what they should. Bring an old school set to the Twin Cities. It was so cool too see these guys finally. The did all the classics you wanted. Off Heavy Metal Maniacs they did the titles track – Evil Sinner – Iron Dogs – Stand Up and Fight – The Holocaust. Other tracks played Beyond the Gates of Doom – Long Live the Loud – Pounding Metal – Violence & Force – Breakdown the Walls and closed out with Iron Fist from Motorhead.

Overall it was an amazing night for metal.
