Eric Church – Target Center – Minneapolis MN – January 20th 2017
AEG and Target Center present Eric Church Holdin’ My Own Tour.
Eric Church’s first tour with no opening band is under way.
If you are planning on going to the show make sure to have some time.
The shows have been going over 3 hours long, and over 30 songs. Eric sent out his new album to all his fans in November before releasing it world wide.
Nice jester. Most of these songs were on the set list tonight. I do prefer this album over the previous one, more vintage Eric than experimental Eric.
The stage had a huge pit in the while while it came out about a third of the way out. Unlike other bands that do this Eric and the band uses the stage all night long.
Hallelujah dnoe by Jeff Buckley was the intro song with just a light on the microphone. Very moving and spiritual intro.
This being the first time seeing the man I understand why people love him.
He put on a great show and you get what you pay for. Not many out there can do a 3 hours show night after night.
