Destination Pro Wrestling – National Guard Armory – Thief River Falls, MN – January 15th 2022

There’s a new independent wrestling company in Minnesota, Destination Pro, and they had their second show ever last Saturday at the National Guard Armory in Thief River Falls, MN.

Highlights for me included the Freelance Underground Independent Championship defense, with Storm Grayson retaining, the Darin Corbin vs JC Slater match that fell into the crowd and all around the ring, and the main event where hometown hero Josh Price and Sammy Savard were cheated out of victory by Ryan Cruz and his partner Renny D using the ring bell to knock out Price when the ref was lying on ground outside.

The full house had a great time, with a lot of audience participation (including a fan dressed as Sting ring run in).  If you love wrestling, and you’re in the northern Minnesota area, check out their next event when they return to the Armory April 30th!
