The Pabst Theater present WASP with special guests Armored Saint

On November 9, 2022, The Pabst Theater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was ablaze with the fiery performances of Wasp and Armored Saint.  They delievered a night of heavy metal mastery that left fans exhilarated.  Armored Saint kicked off the evening with a relentless set of classic metal anthems. Lead singer John Bush commanded the stage.

The crowd was electrified as Armored Saint tore through hits like “March of the Saint” and “Can U Deliver”.  This showcased their trademark blend of raw energy and technical precision. Each member of the band displayed incredible musicianship.  They were feeding off the audience’s energy to deliver a performance that was both fierce and polished.

Following Armored Saint’s explosive set, anticipation soared for Wasp, the legendary heavy metal outfit led by frontman Blackie Lawless.  The stage came alive with a backdrop of pulsating visuals, setting the tone for the evening.

Wasp burst onto the stage with a ferocious energy.  “Wild Child” and “I Wanna Be Somebody” filled the air. Blackie Lawless commanded attention with his stage presence and gritty vocals.  Backed by Doug Blair’s searing guitar solos, the music soared through the theater.

The band’s performance was a masterclass in heavy metal theatrics.  Chris Holmes’ guitar work was particularly noteworthy, adding layers of intensity to each song with his blistering riffs and melodic solos.

As the night progressed, Wasp treated the audience to a mix of their classic hits and newer material, demonstrating their enduring influence on the heavy metal genre. Songs like “Blind in Texas” and “Chainsaw Charlie (Murders in the New Morgue)” kept the crowd on their feet, singing along to every word and reveling in the energy of the performance.

The chemistry between band members was palpable. Lawless was interacting seamlessly with the crowd and his fellow musicians. Mike Duda’s bass lines and Aquiles Priester’s powerhouse drumming provided a solid foundation for Wasp’s relentless assault of sound.

In conclusion, Wasp and Armored Saint delivered a night of heavy metal brilliance. Their performances were a testament to the enduring power of metal music and left a lasting impression on Milwaukee’s metal fans.
