Redveil – Fine Line – Minneapolis MN – March 6th 2026
Fine Line presents Redveil on March 6th 2026

Right away Redveil was very intentional with the energy for his set on March 2nd at the Fine Line.
When walking onto the stage, he came out in an oversized coat featured on the cover of his latest album Sankofa. The opening was very cinematic. As the stage lights flashed only allowing quick glimpses at him, Redveil stood there staring at the audience, but slowly the background noises started gaining semblance and turned into a song. When the beat started up he shed his coat and started moving around the stage with lots of energy. The set leaned into calm, lyric-forward hip-hop that defines Redveil’s sound, but around two thirds of the way through the show he called for the pit to open up and he dipped into some of his older catalog. Almost immediately, the moss pit opened up in the middle of the floor and it was clear Redveil knew how to command a crowd.
Ending the night by playing a piano version of his song “Glimpse of You” closing his main set on a somber reflective note, but the encore was where he revealed his real character. Redveil took a moment to speak directly to the people of Minneapolis and inform about local legislation, even providing a website where you can leave a message to the mayor directly. This was a grounded gesture from a young artist using his platform to inform. After his very last song, he further cemented his authenticity by sticking around at the merch table for an impromptu free meet and greet.
Redveil didn’t just play for Minneapolis. He showed up for it.
