Review and photos by Cassandra Roy

Quinn XCII put on quite a show at the Armory on Thursday, June 8th. Quinn was joined by their opening act Julia Wolf and DJ appearance by Michael the Quinntern (@quinnternxcii on Instagram.) Came for Quinn, stayed for the #Quinntern.

Julia, who has been deemed as taking pop into a new direction, performed with guitarist Natasha Chitayat and drummer Daniele Kashuck, Wolf played top hits such as Captions, Sorority Girls, and Gothic Babe Tendencies (which features singer/rapper BlackBear.). Julia is a high-energy performer who has a way of connecting with fans from the stage. She and her bandmates put on a great show that hyped everyone up for the main act, Quinn XCII!

“The Peoples Champ” Quinn XCII came out to eager fans ready for him to play hits such as Stacy and Straightjacket. Quinn was joined onstage by guitarist Giancarlo Castillo, drummer Patty Anne Miller,  and trumpeter Nathan Kay. They put on an electrifying show and had the crowd engaged the entire time. As a fellow Midwesterner, Quinn expressed his love for the Midwest section of his tour. He also brought up a fan to join him, and smiles were all around from the fans and the band. Quinn XCII closed out his Minneapolis show with his hit Look How Far We Have Come.
