MUSIC AT THE FAIR | DAY 4 – MELISSA ETHERIDGE – ST. PAUL, MN – AUGUST 24, 2025

After what has been a summer of unpredictable weather, Day 4 at the Minnesota State Fair was beginning to feel like the mild trend we could only have hoped for was possible.

It ended up being one of my favorite nights of music at the Grandstand as Melissa Etheridge was an absolute standout. She came out with an energy that matched everything she had become known for over the years. Her voice was triumphant yet beautiful and her guitar playing powerful and inspired. The Indigo Girls were just the right match to open the show and did come out to add some harmonies on a tune with Etheridge.

Arrested Development also put on a great show for their second night headlining the Bandshell.
