MUSIC AT THE FAIR | DAY 5 – LOS LOBOS – ST. PAUL, MN – AUGUST 25, 2025

After a busy start to opening weekend at the Minnesota State Fair, the first Monday tends to be a little less busy and more enjoyable to some. It is Senior Day, which from a music perspective means the Grandstand is hosting the Happy Together Tour consisting of a bunch of bands from the 60’s including: The Turtles, Jay and the Americans, Little Anthony, Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, The Vogues, and The Cowsills.

It was not, however, less busy at the Bandshell as the legendary California band Los Lobos made it one of the most well attended nights at this venue. Many loyal fans who arrived early also got to enjoy some good energy and Jamaican flavor from Talking Dreads. The cleverly named Reggae band does covers of Talking Heads songs as well as some originals and Reggae classics.
