Jesse James Decker is not from Minnesota, but for some reason I kept thinking she was. However, eventually i remembered why I thought that she was. She married her husband, NFL star Eric Decker, back in 2013 and he is from Cold Spring, Minnesota.  He never played for the Minnesota Vikings (he was, however, a star player for the University of Minnesota,) but he did play for the Denver Broncos,  New York Jets, Tennessee Titans, and the New England Patriots. In my mind that makes her an honorary Minnesotan. 

Concerts at the Palace Theater are usually general admission standing room only (except for the balcony & loge where they have actual seats.) However, for the Jesse James Decker concert, there was actual seating like theater normally would have. While Jesse James Decker is considered to be a country artist (my friend said she has a similar style to Shania Twain), it seemed more rock & roll to me. When Decker first came out on stage, she was more dressed like a rock start than a country singer. The music start out in rocking style, but eventually the did a more small Nashville bar set-up with bar stools and acoustic instruments. There wasn’t a huge crowd so it made whole show a little bit more intimate. Starting off the night was singer and songwriter Avery Anna was the opening act whose song “I Love You More” went on to become a viral hit.
