In This Moment made their way to the Twin Cities for the last show on their fall leg of their Ritual tour. It’s the latest album that was released in 2017. For those of you that missed this concert you’re in luck, they’re coming back in February to St. Paul So you will get a chance to see them if you miss them the first time around.

I absolutely love this band and that’s an understatement. They’re very theatrical and yes their songs are on the heavy side but the lead singer Maria Brink is absolutely incredible. Every single song there’s a wardrobe change and every single song has a theme.

If you’re looking to go see a band that you are not familiar with and lose yourself at the show, this is a great choice. I highly recommend checking them out if you get an opportunity as well as checking out their CDs. They are originally from Los Angeles and were formed in 2005. It started with guitarist Chris Howarth and singer Maria Brink. Their debut album is titled beautiful tragedy and it took off from there.

When people ask me what they’re like the easiest way for me to describe it is if Madonna had a metal band backing her. Or Lady Gaga for that matter. The songs are fresh, creative and exciting. Maria may disagree with this assessment but it works for me. I believe they are the future of rock n’ roll.
