Hammerfall – The Cabooze – Minneapolis MN – June 5th 2018

The Cabooze presents Hammerfall with special guests Flotsam & Jetsam.

Flotsam & Jetsam brought their classic thrash style to the show. Still proving they have got it they cranked out 9 tunes mixing old and new ones.

The band sounded fnatastic and got huge response from the crowd. With it packed the crowd was loud. Helping sing and participate.

Erik, Ed and Michael and the band are working on their new studio album The End of Chaos which will be out in November.

Those thee have been in the band since the early eighties.  Erik still has his chops for every song.

It was a huge thrill to see these guys again. Hopefully next time during a headlining set with more tunes.

Set list – Monkey Wrench – Dreams of Death – Hammerhead – She Took an Axe – Life is a Mess – I Live You Die – Iron Maiden – No place for Disgrace.

I have always wanted to see Hammerfall. Well tonight was the night. These guys were just born to be in a metal band.

Coming from Sweden and forming in 1993 they are in support of their latest release Built to Last. These guys are awesome.

Sheer metal in every sense. The duo guitar riffs, the screaming vocals and madness of the bass and drums they are a must see for all metal fans.

I have been busy the previous 4 times they have been here so they do not get around here that often. If you like melodic power metal these are your guys.

I am not a huge fan of this genre but these guys I get. They are totally into the crowd all night. Having them sing along and interacting with them all night.

Posing for shots, Thanks guys!!! It always helps. They have a few more dates here in the states. Make sure to get to a show.
