93x – The Pit and First Avenue present Carcass with special guests Municipal Waste, Sacred Reich and Creeping Death
Review and photos by Kyle Hansen
I was really looking forward to another metal show at First Avenue. Carcass was a good one to start with. They have so many shows here but have not been bringing in much metal So I was very happy to see they booked this tour and this one did not disappoint.
Creeping Death was first. Intense right off the bat. These dudes are from Texas and have 2 full length albums out their latest being Boundless Domain. Plus a bunch of eps and singles. They are super frickin’ heavy, growling vocals and got the night started off in the right way. Really cool riffs and hooks that gave the crowd some pleasing sounds. The vocals were a bit much for myself but everyone dug these guys.
Sacred Reich has returned to the main stage at First Avenue since 1991.I was at that show too. Now they have been back in town but just not back at First Ave. I have liked these guys since they came out. They ripped it up for an hour to a more than excited crowd. The pit was going all night long and tried to capture it in some photos.
Municipal Waste is a wicked band. I love these guys.
