Avery Anna’s headlining stop in Minneapolis delivered a warmly emotive and engaging evening that resonated with both longtime followers and new fans in the sold out crowd at the packed Fine Line Theater in Minneapolis, MN. This intimate setting proved the perfect backdrop for her raw-hearted country-pop storytelling and growing stage charisma of a vibrant storyteller and musician who deeply connects with her music and her message.
The night truly began well before Avery Anna took the stage, thanks to two compelling openers who set a dynamic and warm tone for the evening. Kicking off the night was Dylan Davidson, whose set offered a rich mix of expressive vocals and quiet but earnest songwriting. Drawing from his background in theatre and musical expression, Davidson immediately connected with the crowd, delivering each song with a depth that drew listeners in. His voice carried a warm, resonant quality that complemented the more intimate atmosphere and acoustics of The Fine Line, and his stage presence hinted at both vulnerability and confidence, which was an ideal bridge into the evening’s headliner.
Following Davidson, Jenna Raine turned the energy up and brought the crowd fully into the night. Raine’s set was marked by infectious enthusiasm, charismatic stage banter, and nonstop energy. She had the crowd dancing and talking, delivering and energetic and playful performance that was as fun as it was musically engaging. Raine, a breakout pop artist riding the recent momentum of her 2025 EP Only Started Growing, showcased a blend of upbeat and heartfelt material, and her ability to shift from reflective lyrical turns to full-on sing-along vibes helped build the momentum in the room, prepping the crowd perfectly for the emotional core of Avery Anna’s set.
By the time Avery Anna stepped on stage, the room was primed. Built on an evening warmed up by Davidson’s heartfelt lyricism and Raine’s playful pop energy, Anna’s performance delivered the deeply emotional, confessional style her Let Go Letters album is known for. Her mix of country-pop storytelling and dynamic stage presence struck a chord with fans, many singing along to both old favorites and new material alike. The crowd erupted in song when she launched into “Mr. Predictable” early in the set, and this led to a back and forth energy exchange between Anna and the crowd that was both beautiful and deeply memorable. She showed such passion and humility at the same time, and clearly the emotional effect that her music has had on her fans holds strong in her heart as almost a mission of passing on love, support, and acceptance to her followers. She had a fun moment late in the show when during her “Debbie Downer” selection, where she brings a fan on stage, she picked her first male “Debbie Downer” of the tour, and the excited fan was clearly having the moment of his life getting to share the spotlight on stage with her.
Throughout the night, Anna not only performed songs, but she also connected with fans between tracks, sharing brief backstories about writing certain songs or how they relate to themes of healing and growth on Let Go Letters. Between her thoughtful banter and the audience’s sing-along moments, it felt like a shared emotional journey rather than just a concert and one that the sold-out crowd surely wont’ forget.
