The Myth and 93x presents Alter Bridge and Dirty Honey.
Dirty Honey was brought to my attention from their publicity to make sure I get down and check them out. Intrigued I got my Spotify and checked them out. WOW these guys are awesome.
Reminded me of the early days of classic rock. Catchy riffs, good lyrics and amazing rhythm sections. The band is from LA and currently consists of singer Marc Labelle, guitarist John Notto, bassist Justin Smolian, and drummer Corey Coverstone. They have an self titled EP out now with 6 tracks. All of the songs better then the next one. Opening the show these guys brought huge energy to the stage. Cool swagger, slick voice, smooth guitar playing, it is all there. These guys are on their way to be big.

Alter Bridge is back with a new album and tour for 2019, Walk the Sky. It has been 3 years since the last album The Last Hero and a Minneapolis show. Miles is a busy guy with Alter Bridge and Slash’s solo band so each has to take their time on albums and tours. Miles is one busy dude. Alter Bridge seemed as they had just toured. The band was absolutely perfect tonight. They kept it mostly to the latest release and Black Bird, 3 songs from each. The new album is a great representation of Alter Bridge, as they say if it’s not broke don’t try to fix it. The crowd was a frenzy for the band, they were singing with every tune. Do not miss them on this stretch, you don’t want to wait another 3 years.
